Privacy Policy
Last updated: August 11, 2026
1. Introduction
This Privacy Policy explains how Remove Watermark Claude (“we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, shares, and protects information when you use https://removewatermarkclaude.com and related services (the “Service”).
By using the Service, you agree to this Policy and our Terms of Service.
2. Information we collect
2.1 Information you provide
- Account information: email address and password (stored as a secure hash) when you complete Pro signup.
- User Content: text you paste into the cleaner to be processed and returned to you.
- Support communications: messages you send to our support email.
2.2 Payment information
Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store full payment card numbers on our servers. Stripe may collect billing name, email, payment method details, and related transaction data under Stripe’s own privacy policy.
2.3 Usage and device information
- Free-plan usage counters (for example, number of cleans in a 24-hour window) tied to an anonymous client identifier and/or your account ID.
- Basic technical logs such as approximate timestamps, request status, and error diagnostics needed to operate and secure the Service.
- Cookies and similar technologies described below.
3. How we use information
We use information to:
- provide, operate, and improve the cleaning Service;
- enforce free-plan limits and authenticate Pro accounts;
- process subscriptions, renewals, cancellations, and invoices;
- prevent abuse, fraud, and security incidents;
- respond to support requests and send transactional messages;
- comply with legal obligations.
We do not sell your personal information. We do not use your pasted text to train public foundation models for unrelated third parties.
4. How text processing works
When you submit text for cleaning, that content is transmitted to our servers and may be processed by automated systems and subprocessors required to rewrite or transform the text and return a result. We process User Content for the purpose of fulfilling your request.
We do not intend to permanently store the full body of pasted text after a request completes. Transient processing, logs, backups, or error records may briefly contain content. Usage metadata (such as that a clean occurred) may be retained to enforce plan limits.
5. Cookies and similar technologies
We use cookies to:
- keep you logged in (secure session cookie after account login);
- remember an anonymous client identifier used for free-plan rate limits;
- maintain basic site functionality.
You can control cookies through your browser settings. Disabling cookies may prevent login or accurate free-plan tracking.
6. Sharing of information
We may share information with:
- Stripe - payment processing, billing, tax, fraud prevention, and customer portal features;
- Hosting and infrastructure providers (for example, Railway or similar) that store application data and run the Service;
- Processing vendors needed to transform submitted text and deliver the Service;
- Professional advisors or authorities when required by law, legal process, or to protect rights, safety, and security;
- a buyer or successor in the event of a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, subject to appropriate confidentiality protections.
7. Data retention
We retain account and subscription records for as long as your account is active and as needed for billing, accounting, dispute resolution, and legal compliance. Free-plan usage records are kept long enough to enforce rolling limits and then deleted or anonymized. Support emails may be retained as needed to assist you and improve operations.
8. Security
We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards, including hashed passwords and HTTPS. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure. You use the Service at your own risk and should avoid pasting highly sensitive personal data (such as government IDs, health records, or passwords) into the cleaner.
9. International transfers
We may process information in the United States and other countries where our providers operate. Those locations may have data-protection laws different from your home country. Where required, we use appropriate transfer mechanisms offered by our providers.
10. Your rights and choices
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export personal information, or to object to certain processing. To make a request, email support@removewatermarkclaude.com. We may need to verify your identity before fulfilling a request.
You can cancel a Pro subscription through your Account billing portal. You may request account deletion by contacting support.
11. Children’s privacy
The Service is not directed to children under 13 (or under 16 where applicable). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child provided information, contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.
12. Do Not Track / marketing
We do not run third-party advertising pixels for behavioral ads. We use Plausible Analytics, a privacy-friendly analytics service, for aggregate page views. We may send transactional emails related to your account, billing, and security. If we later send optional marketing emails, we will provide an unsubscribe option.
13. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we post revisions. Continued use of the Service after an update means you accept the revised Policy.
